AMANDA AND PHIL–Regina Wedding Photography

Phil finds Amanda most beautiful lounging in her sweats, t-shirt on, no makeup.  But today was different. Today was special. Amanda got her hair done, her makeup applied, and her best friends in the world helped her step into the most simply elegant dress.  Amanda looked beautiful.  There was no denying it. Amanda-and-Phil-(24-of-700) Amanda had her hair done at Indira.  I have to say I might have fallen in love with her hair stylist. April did a great job and she was so fun and full of energy…much like Amanda!

Krista at Blush Beauty Bar did not disappoint!  She really is amazing at what she does, listens to what the client wants, and delivers!  Not to mention the shop itself is worth checking out.

Phil and Amanda opted for a First Look on their wedding day which I love!  It sets the pace for a nice relaxing day, you get to see more of each other, and allows me to capture moments like these:

I would be lying if I said I didn’t have a few tears here…but blinked a couple of times a got on with the photos because with Phil and Amanda, the gorgeousness never stops!

Phil, I cannot believe you when you say you do not like being photographed.  For shame!  Seriously, Wascana Park just got hotter.

Amanda’s family flew in from England.  They wouldn’t have missed this day for the world.  Oscar, you were a smashing DJ.

Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the The Willow on Wascana.

If every wedding I ever shot was held here I would not be complaining. Their staff is top notch, the service superb, and food so delish – there are no words.

Amanda and Phil were so thankful to have all their closest family and friends under the same tent.  Anyone could see how much love they have for this group of people.

On a day that called for Thundershowers, brighter skies prevailed.  For this everyone was thankful. And as the moon was establishing it’s place in the Regina sky, we stepped out onto the pier and captured the following…

You two really know how to throw a party!  Amanda and Phil, I had a wonderful time photographing your wedding and feel that we are closer friends now more than ever.  You both have wonderful families and I left appreciating mine more.  Thank you a million times over!

Thanks for commenting! I love getting comments. These photos are just a few teasers from the day. All the images will be posted to an online gallery when they are ready. Met Amanda many years ago through Lee.... what beautiful day she had on her wedding day !! And such beautiful photos to remember it by! Enjoyed so much looking through the photos - gorgeous wedding and Amanda looks just amazing. Lee - well, I have never ever seen her NOT looking smashing !! Great to see a family photo of you and your boys, Lee !
